Broadlakes Lodge Social Club is a village social asset that has evolved from the demise of the Royal British Legion here in London Colney, St Albans. The Club aims to provide a welcoming family atmosphere to all 'nice people', over the age of 25, and their families. We must emphasise that children are welcome but must be supervised at all times whilst on the Club premises.
There are some very simple governing rules which we would ask you to read here. We run a
variety of regular activities that may be of interest to you. For example there is a small but thriving
Karate Club every Wednesday evening and Sunday Morning supervised and run by myself
Mick.
Every Thursday evening is given over to the Bike Clubs where bikers and non-bikers alike
meet and swap gossip and ideas. Regular biking events are also held, check out the
What's On page for details.
We have bands that will entertain you for a nominal door entrance fee as well as Karaoke
once a month. Again, check the What's On page for more information, and we can also
cater for private parties through our vetted Hall Hire. Click here to enquire.
Why not come and join us for a relaxed drink with music, played to your taste, during
regular bar opening hours, or just a good old NAG at the bar and, for a more energetic
Saturday evening, dancing to a band?
Lastly but by no means least our Cafe is now open from 07:30 am daily and serves a great full English Breakfast, plus a variety of home cooked specials, all available to eat in or take away. For further info and to look at our tasty menu click here.
